What is #SpeakUpTour2018?
The #SpeakUpTour2018 is being headlined by Angela Lussier and it is a month-long tour of the eastern side of New England with a goal of empowering women to speak up. We will do this through workshops, special events, and book signings.
Why are you doing it?
The tour is all about teaching women how to speak up so they can advance their career, enhance their leadership impact, and create change through their words. We have seen the power of this kind of work in our Speaker Sisterhood public speaking clubs and want to bring this work to more women.
Who is Angela?
Angela Lussier is an award-winning speaker, five-time author, two-time TEDx presenter, and CEO and founder of the Speaker Sisterhood, a network of speaking clubs that help women discover, awaken, and create their voice through the art of public speaking. Angela is the host of Claim the Stage, a public speaking podcast for women rated #1 on the inspiring podcasts list by Forbes in December 2017. She is a contributor to Huffington Post and her work has been featured on ABC, NBC, Forbes, Virgin, and Entrepreneur. Her motto: Stop waiting. Start creating.

What will the workshops teach?
Have you ever raised your hand to speak, and barely a squeak came out? Or have you ever formed an entire speech in your mind, only to go blank when it was your turn to present it? To avoid losing your power, these workshops will teach you how to create confidence and strength in the moments when you need it most. Stop walking away from lost opportunities because you lacked the power to speak up.
Learn how to present yourself with power when:
–talking to your boss or others in high-level positions
–having a difficult conversation or needing to stand up for yourself
–presenting your ideas in a meeting
–giving a speech in front of an audience
–networking and introducing yourself
Learn the tools and techniques to present yourself with power in important situations through fun and easy small group and partner exercises. If you’re watching opportunities pass you by and want to change that, these workshops are for you!
