Podcast Ep. 77: 4 Ways to Get Out of Your Own Way and Put Yourself Out There with Jodi Flynn

jodi-flynn-womentakethelead-claimthestage-podcast-speakerI’m often asked how I put myself out there and make myself so visible in the world. The question usually sounds like this: “How do you just go out and do it?” The short answer is, it requires a lot of focus and discipline. I actually don’t just “go out and do it.”

On today’s episode, my guest, Jodi Flynn, an Amazon bestselling author and Founder of Women Taking the Lead, outlines the four steps you need to take if you want to get out of your own way and put yourself out there. The bottom line is that it’s not as hard as you think, especially if you know yourself and the way you like to work.

I share one of my slightly embarrassing goals for this year and we use her steps to help me be successful in accomplishing it. (Kind of wishing I didn’t mention it, but hey, that’s part of putting yourself out there!) Jodi also shares some of the mistakes people make when following her steps and shows you how to get out of your head and change the stories you’re telling yourself about who you are. Jodi is a wealth of knowledge and has the life experience to back up her advice. If you’re looking to change just about anything this year, this episode is for you!
